Cafe am Hochhaus (Blumenstr. 29, München, เยอรมันนี)

Café am Hochhaus is definitely one of the top three venues in Munich. It took its name in 1952,at that time it was a ‘’tea house’’.50 years earlier it was one of Munich’s famous dance halls full of mirrors and a small tavern.

Its title it might include the term café yet do not be surprised when you visit it; this small and cozy bar it is the hot spot for youngsters and students in Germany’s wealthiest city.

Its decoration is funky; in the walls you will find a big collection of photos and the lighting is a mixture of red and purple. On the wall of its futuristic bar you can see the menu in a retro billboard.

You will also enjoy the view from the big windows since the Cafe am Hochhaus is located at the down-town.

When it comes to music most of the times you can listen to soul, jazz and electro. There is a significant number of concerts going on monthly and every Monday and Tuesday there are guest DJs.

In terms of drinks there is a variety of beers and a bigger variety of cocktails. We would suggest a cold Augustiner Helles or a Becks Gold !!

This venue is reachable by Ubahn,the closest station is the Sendliger Tor. If you want to drink a beer in another Buddy-bar just few feet away you can visit the well-known Glockenbach.
