Located in the Wedding district of Berlin, Café Schadé offers seating
for 100 people inside, with an additional 100 seats on the outdoor
patio.
Most mornings begin with a selection of breakfast entrees featuring
cheeses, breads, muesli, eggs and meats. Sunday mornings at Café
Schadé are special with a Sunday brunch for 11 Euros per person, which
features all-you-can-eat food, coffee and tea, and the choice of
either orange juice or prosecco.
Lunch and dinner always offer various soups and salads, steaks and
burgers, and German schnitzel prepared many ways. Pizza and pasta are
also prominent on the menu, and on Wednesdays, guests can enjoy a
pizza and pasta buffet for 5,50 Euros. Meanwhile, a special Mexican
section of the menu boasts a variety of nachos, fajitas, burritos and
enchiladas.
Not hungry for a full meal? No problem. Non-committal diners can munch
on a choice of snacks, including mozzarella sticks, chicken wings,
tortilla chips or country potatoes. Guests can also inquire about the
café’s catering service.
The drink menu is just as extensive as the food, with many coffees,
teas, sodas and juices to choose from. The beer menu offers six beers
on tap, including Erdinger and Krombacher, and a larger selection of
bottled beers as well.
The wine list is limited to white and red wines, five kinds of each,
and prosecco and champagne are also available. Café Schadé does not
cut any corners on its hard alcohol selection, with choices of long
drinks and more than 30 cocktails. It also offers drink specials;
cocktail nights on the weekends offer five cocktails for the price of
four, and there are special cocktails of the day on Tuesdays and
Thursdays for 3,50 Euros.
Café Schadé is located at Tegeler Str. 23, near to the S and U-Bahn
Wedding station and also a short walk from the Amrumer Straße stop on
U-Bahn line 9. It is a short walk from bars like Brauerei Eschenbräu
and Tante Elli, the latter of which offers authentic German food.
Guests can also enjoy free wifi at Café Schadé.
