Novus (M4,1, Mannheim, Germany)

Novus is a restaurant and café that is located in the inner city of
Mannheim. The restaurant is long and spacious and welcoming both in
appearance and service. In the evenings, the atmosphere is especially
inviting, with tables adorned by lit candles.

Novus opens at 10 a.m. daily for breakfast. Many of the breakfast
dishes are classified according to their regions, with meals
representative of Mannheim, Bavaria, London and Dublin. There are also
smaller options for breads, tomatoes, mueslis, yogurt, and meat and
cheese dishes.

Salads come highly recommended and are costly but plentiful. Soups,
burgers, pastas and meat dishes round up the remainder of the menu. A
weekly menu with daily specials also features, and is available ahead
of time on the Internet.

In addition, there is no shortage of specials at Novus. Mondays
feature all-you-can-eat spare ribs with a salad buffet for 8,50 Euros,
while Thursdays feature all-you-can-eat pasta buffet for only 5,50
Euros. And on Sundays, the restaurant is known for its tasty brunch,
which costs 7,90 Euros, with children up to age 10 eating for free.
Although that price doesn’t include drinks, that doesn’t keep it from
being a popular destination, and as a result, reservations are often
needed.

During the rest of the week, there are specialty cocktails available
at discounted prices, in addition to hard alcohol, long drinks and
shooters.

Beer is served on tap (Warsteiner, Jever, Radler, König Ludwig Hefe)
and in the bottle (Carlsberg, Fosters, Malzbier, Salitos, Millers).
White wine, red wine, apple wine, sekt, prosecco and champagne are
also available.

Hot drinks range from coffee and tea to steamed milk and seasonal
glühwein, and of course, a selection of soda and juices is also
available.

Novus is located at M4 1 in Mannheim. Its central location in the city
places it close to many other restaurants, bars and shopping
locations.
