Lowbrow (Erbacher Str. 5, Darmstadt, Germany)

With a slogan like “Haulin’ Ass & Raisin’ Hell,” Low Brow is a
rock’n’roll bar like none other.

Channeling the 80s in its décor, the
bar features an arcade machine that lets guests choose from a
selection of 48 original arcade games, from the likes of Donkey Kong
all the way to Pac Man. There are also dartboards for the dart savvy.

More than just a bar, this hangout has a selection of skateboard and
music magazines for patrons to read, and is always playing loud, fun
music, ranging from straight rock, to punk, to metal. In the
background, the TV will show strange movies and programs to entertain
and amuse. And on warm nights, guests can go upstairs and enjoy their
drinks from a rooftop patio.

The beer menu features both familiar and more rare beers, such as
Pfungstädter and Astra, and a selection of Mexican and American beers,
including Corona. Long drinks, cocktails and hard alcohol also are
available, and non-drinkers can order coffee or tea instead. Snacks
are provided at no extra cost.

For this venue we would suggest you an Astra and a Corona.

Low Brow is located at Erbacher Str. 5, a short walk away from the
Darmstadt castle. The Green Sheep, Sausalitos and Darmstädter
Ratskeller Hausbrauerei are just a few of the bars and pubs within
walking distance from Low Brow’s front door.
