Louisiana (Attila Str. 175, 12105 Berlin, Berlin, Germany)

With its vibrant, Mardi Gras-esque rainbow décor, homey feel, elegant contrasting wood interior, and friendly owners Louisiana is Berlin’s number one spot for hearty, creole-inspired fare.

Reopened in early 2011 with new management, this café/bar has become increasingly popular among Tempelhof residents and visitors alike—especially for their breakfast buffet.

From Tuesday to Sunday till 3pm, Louisiana offers a complete breakfast buffet that costs less than six euros and includes the price of a large thermos of coffee and/or tea per table. While the food served in the buffet varies from day to day, it usually includes traditional brunch side dishes such as scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, baked potatoes, fried potatoes, fresh salad, pasta, warm baked buns and rolls with jam, minced meats, and desserts.

With all offerings made on the premises and quickly replenished, the brunch is a good deal and true favorite among in-the-know Berliners, yet it is hardly all that Louisiana serves. The full service café/bar also has a classic drinks-menu and is a lively place to meet friends over coffee or beer. And what better than a cold Carlsberg!!

Located at Attilastraße 175, Louisiana is nearest to the Ullsteinstraße and Kaiserin-Augusta-Straße stations on the U6 line and nearby Tempelhof Park, site of the former airport,a perfect place for a walk.
