Lino’s prides itself on being a lovely place for everyone. In fact, that’s exactly its motto: Lino’s – the lovely place. The neon orange-yellow lighting on the outside façade beckons passers-by to stop in for a drink. Step inside and take a look at the long, narrow expanse. The bar compliments one side of the room, while seating adorns the opposing wall, before the room opens up in the back. The interior boasts a modern feel, with tables and leather seats to choose from. The red, orange and yellow lights work together to create a warm feel, while the lines of the furniture promote a clean aesthetic.

The lounge atmosphere at Lino’s offers snacks and light meals to enjoy over drinks, like homemade nachos or sandwiches or the Monday night special of fresh-baked tart and a drink for 7,50 Euro.
The clientele is admittedly a young adult crowd between 18 and 30, consisting namely of students and rugby players. Weeknights are typically more on the mellow side, with groups socializing or individuals taking advantage of the free WiFi. Meanwhile, weekends tend to feature electronic DJs, which transform the hangout into a miniature discothèque, complete with dancing.

Astra Urtyp is available for 2,90 Euro, as is a vast selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non. For the undecided, bartenders are
ready and willing to make a suggestion or mix up something new and reative. Meanwhile, drink specials are plentiful – just be sure to ask for the discount of the evening.

Lino’s can be found at Bergheimerstr. 21, in the vicinity of the Poststraße tram stop. It is nearby the bar Maria Magdelena, and within walking distance of a handful of wine bars as well.

The closest public transportation stops are Bismarckplatz and Thibautstraße. Lino’s is open every day except Sunday. On Monday through Thursday, it’s open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m., and on Friday and Saturday it’s open from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m.
