Fitzgeralds Irish Pub Mannheim (U5,13, Mannheim, Germany)

Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub is a melting pot of culture, drinks and fun.
Admittedly, the self-imposed slogan of “The Best Pub In The World” is
a tall order for a place like this, but no one can blame the bar for
having high ambitions.

Featuring both indoor seating and an outdoor patio, Fitzgerald’s
offers a classic Irish atmosphere with drinks to match. Patrons can
order Irish beers along the lines of Smithwicks or Guinness, but
should expect to pay higher prices for the imported beers.

A classic pub menu also accompanies the drink menu. Here you can enjoy
a cold Astra or you may either try the bucket of Astra ,5 bottles, for 10 euro.

Live music is a regular occurrence at Fitzgerald’s, with bands
typically playing on Friday nights. The live music acts range from
cover bands to Irish bands to Mexican bands to ska, rock and punk
bands, and more. And although it’s not very Irish in origin,
Fitzgerald’s also plays host to weekly karaoke nights every Saturday.

In true pub style, there are regular quiz nights at the bar where
patrons can try their hand at general and obscure knowledge. There are
also themed event nights, such as an annual Halloween party complete
with a costume contest. And even when no scheduled event is going on,
if there’s a football game being shown, you can bet Fitzgerald’s will
show it.

Located at U5 13 in Mannheim, Fitzgerald’s is closest to the Neckartor
tram stop. It opens at 5 p.m. daily, staying open until 1 a.m. on
Sundays through Thursdays, and keeping later hours until 2:30 a.m. on
Fridays and Saturdays.
