B Fourtyseven (Fritz-Erler-Allee 110, Berlin, Germany)
After undergoing a change in ownership last year, B fourtyseven has established a solid local following for itself. The hybrid café, restaurant, and bar is particularly known to patrons for its friendliness and affordability.
The menu at B fourtyseven is somewhat generic, with offerings of burgers, pizza, pasta and salads. Prices for food single-servings range between 4 and 7 Euros, with family-size pizzas costing upward of 10 Euros. Those wishing to snack on lighter foods can choose from a variety of finger foods, including nachos, fries and chicken nuggets. Even the traditional Berliner currywurst with fries makes an appearance on the menu!
It’s the drink menu at B fourtyseven that appears to cut no corners, with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages alike. Juices and flavored iced teas are available, and a warm drinks menu fulfills any coffee and tea craving one might have.
Beer is poured from the tap or served in the bottle, whereas wine drinkers can choose from a small selection of white, red, or sparkling. From the brewed products we would suggest a Carlsberg or a Duckstein. Aperitifs, digestives, shooters and long drinks each have a place at B- fourtyseven. Fruity, tropical drinks are served on the rocks, but blended daiquiris and margaritas are also available.
Standard rum and vodka cocktails are also on the menu, but patrons looking to try their own hand at playing bartender can purchase bottles of hard alcohol. Each comes with two choices of soft drinks for mixing.
B fourtyseven is located at Fritz-Erler-Allee 110, on the corner of Lipschitzalle, nestled in the district of Rudow. The U-Bahn line 7 services the area, with three stops – Johannisthaler Chaussee, Lipschitzalle and Wutzkyallee – all within close walking distance.
